CBRYC specialists have found that studying the brain and brainwaves provides significant insight into a boy’s behavior—identifying everything from attention disorders to impulse control disorders.
Through the use of state-of-the-art technology, researchers at CBRYC are discovering that the brain waves in youth with psychiatric disorders function abnormally. Behavior problems arise when the brain does not respond to certain events in an appropriate fashion. As a result, CBRYC specialists are working on new therapy techniques that help re-train a boy’s brainwaves, allowing him to respond to life situations with better emotional and behavioral control. As with the other components of his therapy, the neuroscience aspect is implemented within the context of the overall treatment plan, helping the boy received a well-rounded and balanced therapy experience.
